Chris Pratt’s Baby? Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are expecting their 2nd child
The actor and the writer are the parents of a girl, Lyla Maria, who is just 16 months old.
The family grows! Chris Pratt , 42, and Katherine Schwarzenegger , 32, will receive their second baby before the first half of 2022. The news reached the family as an early Christmas present and the actor could not be happier for the upcoming arrival of another family.
The news was confirmed by People magazine and so far, neither the actor nor the writer have spoken about it on their respective social networks.
Chris and Katherine are already parents to Lyla Maria , who just turned her first year in August. For the actor, this next baby will be his third child, since during his marriage to actress Anna Faris , he welcomed 9-year-old Jack , who gets along wonderfully with his current wife.
This surprise pregnancy comes a couple of days after Katherine celebrated her 32nd birthday on December 13, when her husband went out of his way to compliment the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver , with a couple of postcards on Instagram and an emotional message that highlighted her greatest qualities as a woman, wife, mother, stepmother and partner.
The couple got married in June 2019 and the Guardians of the Galaxy protagonist was so excited about his daughter’s first birthday that when he was questioned by the famous news website on how many more children he wanted to have with Katherine , he answered without hesitation: “As many children as the ‘man above’ can provide us.” During the interview, the actor confessed that it would be a topic to discuss with his wife because his plan is to ‘let go and fill himself with babies’.
For her part, the future mother of two has remained very active on her Instagram account and is focused on babies and motherhood with a series of talks and interviews called BDA Baby (Before, During & After Baby). They are talks with maternity experts and even some famous ones, who share their experiences and some common problems that arise around this topic. The goal of the writer is to create a network of support and empathy with women who plan to become mothers and those who already are.
